Code of Conduct - Etowah Jr. Eagles

PLAYERS: As a member of the Etowah Jr. Eagle Football program your attitude, effort and conduct will be held to a higher standard than that of a non participant. Remember your actions on and off the field reflect you, your parents, your school and community. As a member of the Etowah Jr. Eagle Football program, I agree to the following:

  • To treat others as you wish them to treat you.
  • To treat officials and opponents with respect. I will comply fully with the rulings of the officials and in no way, either by voice, action, or gesture shall I demonstrate dissatisfaction with a decision made.
  • To be gracious in victory and defeat To be cooperative with ALL coaches; especially their decisions on my positions played and other game strategies.
  • To be a good role model off of the field.
  • Do not participate in illegal behavior nor associate with those who do.
  • To represent myself, my parents, and my school with honor, proper conduct and good sportsmanship.
  • I will not use or possess tobacco (smoke, chew, or snuff) steroids, alcohol, or illicit drugs on or off of school grounds.


    • Any arrest or conviction by authorities may cause disciplinary action by the program in relation to participation or membership on the team.

    PARENTS:     As a parent of a Etowah Jr. Eagle football player, I agree and acknowledge the following:
  • I will be courteous toward opposing players, coaches, cheerleaders and other parents.
  • I will maintain composure and positive personal decorum throughout the season
  • I will not harass or berate any player, coach, spectator or official.
  • I will not throw any object, use threatening language, engage in arguments or use profanity during any practice or game.

    Failure to abide by this policy will result in removal from a game or practice and possible suspension form the Etowah Jr. Eagle football program. Any refusal in being asked to leave a practice or a game may result in the expulsion from the program

    Parental Agreement

    I/We understand that as a parent and member of the Jr. Eagle Football Program:

    1. My child lives in the Etowah High School District.
    2. A portion of the registration fee is used to pay membership dues in the Etowah Touchdown Club. As a member of the Touchdown Club, I/we will support the football program at Etowah High School and will actively participate in Touchdown Club meetings and other activities.

    I/We understand that as parents of a Etowah Jr. Eagle football player, I/we will commit to assisting and participating with the program in:

    1. Fudraising activity as directed by the Etowah Eagle Touchown Club.
    2. Giving my time to assist during home games for such activities as concession stand duty, gate admission, etc. as required by Team Moms and Jr. Eagle Coordinator.
